Internationally recognised for her strong advocacy for advancing socio-economic progress through technology and digital and contributing to the achievement of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through ecosystem-wide collaboration on promoting ICTs, Isabelle Mauro is a driven and dedicated senior executive with over 20 years’ experience in the ICT sector, public policy and international affairs. Isabelle is currently serving as the Director, Head Digital Communications Industry, World Economic Forum, responsible for leading the agenda of the Digital Communications industry at the World Economic Forum. As part of her role, Isabelle manages the portfolio for the telecoms industry and leads ICT initiatives on digital transformation and digital inclusion designed to bring positive impact on society, the environment and the economy. Prior to this role, Isabelle was Head of International Affairs at the GSMA, where she was responsible of government and institutional relations at global level, leading advocacy campaigns to help shape the wireless industry agenda, both in the private and public sector. Isabelle is the Chair of of High Level Advisory Board of the DigitalGoes.Green Foundation and a Member of the Board of the Advisory Board of Women in Tech. Isabelle holds an MSc in European Politics and Policy from the London School of Economics. She is fluent in French, English, Italian and Spanish.
