Let’s bridge digital and green

Digital Goes Green is a foundation registered under Belgian law, working where digital transformation and environmental responsibility meet. We exist because those two agendas are governed separately almost everywhere. Digital strategy sits with technology and operations, sustainability sits with compliance and reporting, and neither holds the decisions where the two collide.

Digital Sustainability Governance

We introduced the DSG framework in January 2024 to close that gap. Six steps, running from strategic assessment through to communications, setting out who decides on an organisation’s digital environmental footprint, on what evidence, with what budget and accountability, and how results are reported. We apply it with organisations through an assessment toolkit and a structured questionnaire. Read the framework.

What we work on

Sustainable organisations. We work with organisations across sectors to make their digital transformation sustainable, through governance, training and regular monitoring of environmental impact.

Impact through innovation. We convene cross-sector dialogue on business models that put technology and protocols at the heart of green solutions, building sustainable supply chains through digital tools and data.

Green by design. We work with industry and the technical community towards common methodologies for assessing the environmental impact of digital services, so that current and emerging services are green by design.
